Our Pastor

Matt Wilson started as the pastor at Union Baptist Church in May 2019. He grew up in northeast Arkansas.

​He attended Arkansas Tech University where he met Bethany, who is from Rogers, AR. They have four children: Zoeyanna, Sylvia, Adalynn, and Joseph.

After graduating from Arkansas Tech, he served on staff at First Baptist Church in Russellville, AR. He went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After seminary, he was on staff with the Oklahoma State Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Before coming to UBC, he served as a senior pastor in northeast Arkansas.

His hope for UBC is that our church would bring glory to God by helping fulfill Jesus' Great Commission.
